What the headline leaves out

  • Allowances are per-model, not a single wallet: a model on the 2x allowance gives $20, not $70.

  • Past a cap, requests fall back to pay-as-you-go credits bought at model cost.
  • It is a coding harness first; API access exists through the Provider API but the value is tuned for the CLI.
